Book Review: State of the Union

NOW AND THEN Douglas Kennedy’s State of the Union

Why is not Douglas Kennedy a household name like Jodi Picoult? He should be. His intelligent novels walk the line between literary and commercial fiction, like Picoult’s. Do yourself a favor and look up some of his earlier novels: The Big Picture, Leaving the World, and A Special Relationship. B
