Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook Page Shut Down (Video)

Mark Zuckerberg has been kicked off Facebook.

No, not that Mark Zuckerberg, but an Indianapolis attorney who has the same name as the founder of the social media site.

Mark S. Zuckerberg told Indiana TV station WISH that Facebook cited “false identity” as the reason they deleted his account. He’s has to explain to friends that he did not delete them from his Facebook but that his whole account was removed.

But this is not the first time this has happened.

“I was originally denied an account with Facebook two years ago because of my name, and I had to send them duplicates of my driver’s license, birth certificate and Indianapolis Bar Association license just to get them to believe that I exist and to grant me to set up my page,” Zuckerberg said.

After four months, he wrote a “threatening letter,” and his Facebook page was reactivated.

But he states he still doesn’t comprehend how such a massive company can make such a mistake — twice.

A rep for Facebook told WISH-TV: “We are in the process of reactivating the account and apologize for the mistake.”

As for sharing the same name as the Facebook founder — Mark E. Zuckerberg — the attorney states he is received hundreds of friend requests and messages from people thinking he is the same guy portrayed in The Social Network.

“I’ve gotten emails from people on Facebook, thanking me for finding their lost relatives because of Facebook,” Zuckerberg said. “And then they would say, ‘Can you lend me some money so I can go fly and meet them?’”

The attorney stated he has about 350 friends on Facebook, compared with the founder’s 4 million-plus friends.
